Jayhawk Motorsports is one of the leading contenders in the Formula SAE
competitions. Jayhawk Motorsports was founded in 1994 by a group of six KU mechanical engineers. Since then, JMS has grown into developing a combustion driven racecar. The team is comprised of over 40 students. Team members represent several disciplines including industrial design, business, computer science and mechanical, chemical, and electrical engineering.
